Original post:
Jeffrey Toobin is officially back Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended by The New Yorker for showing his peen during a Zoom call.
The staff writer who famously covered the OJ Simpson trial for the mag in the 1990s, was on a Zoom call last week between magazine colleagues and WNYC workers when the unveiling happened.
Jeffrey told Vice:
I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera. I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers.
I believed I was not visible on Zoom. I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me.
I thought I had muted the Zoom video.
A spokeswoman for the magazine said, “Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended while we investigate the matter.”
“Zoom D*ck” is currently trending on Twitter as folks react and get their jokes off about the virtual meat display.
Zoom responsibly.
