Missing Transgender Woman Natasha Kieanna Found Inside SUV In Detroit

37

The body of a transgender woman, who went missing in December, was discovered in an SUV on the west side of Detroit on Tuesday.

Natasha Kieanna, 37, was last seen leaving a local motel in her white Saturn SUV.

Her mother Bernetha Shelton said, “She was a beautiful person. She was loved all over.”

Investigators reported there were no apparent signs of trauma or foul play. An official announcement about the cause of death will be released by the medical examiner at the end of the investigation.

A neighbor said the SUV had been parked in the same spot “for about two weeks.”

So we noticed it, we called the police a couple of times, and they came in today — when they found the body. It was very surprising.

Shelton claimed the police did not respond to calls initially and allowed her daughter to freeze to death.

A week, my baby sat there in the car a week and froze to death. This lady kept calling Detroit police and they never came out!

Natasha Kieanna’s body was found on the passenger side of the SUV.

Shelton believes her daughter got “mixed up with the wrong crowd.”

Our condolences go out to Shelton and her family. Hopefully, the autopsy will provide the family with some closure.
