“I’ve Never Felt Pain Like This”
Masika wrote, “❤️ I’ve never felt pain like this. I wouldn’t wish this on anybody. I feel like I lost my right leg but I still have to walk as if nothing has changed. Our daughters are devastated and confused. Our lives will never be the same.”
She continued:
As I prepare to bury my husband, if there’s only two things I can leave you with from this tragedy that I KNOW my husband would want… when you have to bury your spouse, none of the arguments matter.
None. Not one. The things you were so sure were worth fighting over suddenly mean nothing when the person you love is gone.
All that’s left is love—and the time you wish you could get back.
