Welp! The Preference Police and the Colorist Cops have their sights set on Mario, and the R&B star is not here for it.
This week, Mario took to Instagram to call out comments accusing him of not liking Black women and claiming Black women are not loved.
In his post, he made it clear he was tired of the “slander” and stressed that Black women are both loved and needed.
On top of addressing the drama, the 39-year-old “Just A Friend” singer also dropped some personal news.
Mario and his girlfriend Esmerelda Rios are expecting their first child together, and during a recent interview, he may have accidentally revealed the baby’s gender.
But here is the kicker. Mario is not the only R&B star who has been caught in the colorism crossfire.
You may remember Chris Brown was facing the same allegations not too long ago, which eventually led him to step away from social media.
