Lil Wayne took to the streets of Twitter to publicly thank Donald Trump for granting him clemency in his final hours as president.
You may recall, last December, federal authorities searched Weezy’s private plane and discovered a gold-plated pistol, bullets, marijuana, heroin, pain killers, prescription-strength cough syrup, suspected cocaine and a $25,938 in cash.
He was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition by the U.S. District Attorney in the Southern District of Florida and facing up to 10 years in prison.
Then, Wayne posted up for a photo op with Trump who was vying for a second term in office.
Trump didn’t get re-elected but he kept up his part of [the alleged] deal and granted Wayne clemency.
Weezy took to Twitter writing:
I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community. I also want to thank @bradfordcohen for working so diligently to secure another chance for me. Love! – Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.

First of all…it is FORMER President Donald Trump.
Do not try to trigger me one day after the inauguration!
