Recap Of The Bizarre Incident On Ventura Blvd
If you missed the initial incident that sparked all this, here’s a quick recap.
On August 21, Lil Nas X — real name Montero Lamar Hill — was spotted wandering down the 1100 block of Ventura Blvd. around 4 a.m., wearing nothing but his underwear and cowboy boots.
He appeared disoriented, at one point placing a traffic cone on his head while mumbling about going to a party.
At one point, Lil Nas X stripped completely naked and was filmed rapping Nicki Minaj lyrics.
Multiple calls were made to LAPD reporting a “nude man in the street,” and officers arrived shortly before 6 a.m.
According to police, when officers attempted to approach Nas, he allegedly charged at them and physically assaulted at least one officer.
He was detained and transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
At the time, the LAPD confirmed that he would be booked and charged once released from medical care.
Now, the charges have officially been filed — and they are no joke.
Where Things Stand Now
Lil Nas X’s arraignment will reveal whether this case heads to trial or is resolved some other way.
For now, his legal team has not issued a public statement, and reps for the artist have remained silent.
The 26-year-old has been relatively quiet online since the incident, and fans are wondering what’s next for the artist who once broke the internet with cowboy hats and Billboard records.
This story is still unfolding, and I’ll be updating you as soon as more details are confirmed.
