It’s with a heavy heart that I report Kangol Kid has passed away after battling stage 4 colon cancer.
The legendary rapper and member of the Brooklyn Hip Hop group UTFO was first diagnosed in February 2021.
Kangol Kid, real name Shaun Fequiere, went on to share his journey of battling cancer with various updates on his surgeries, hospital stays, and photos from visits received from his legendary Hip Hop friends and family.
He wrote:

He is survived by his four beautiful children and a host of family and friends who will forever cherish him
