Paramount+ just dropped the official trailer for Season 2 of “Landman” and Frens, this one is shaping up to be even bigger, bolder, and messier than before.
The Taylor Sheridan series is set to premiere on Sunday, November 16, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+.
Season 1 set the tone by exploring fortune seekers, oil tycoons, and the raw realities of West Texas life.
Now, Season 2 promises even more chaos as oil rises from the ground and secrets rise with it.
What “Landman” Is All About
For those who need a refresher, “Landman” is a modern tale set in the boomtowns of West Texas.
It is a story of wealth, greed, survival, and the type of power that can shift entire economies and even geopolitics.
The series stars Oscar® winner Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

What To Expect In Season 2
Billy Bob Thornton returns as Tommy Norris, and from the looks of it, he is hanging on by a thread.
With pressure mounting from M-Tex Oil, conflict brewing with Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the weight of family shadows, Tommy’s breaking point is dangerously close.
The trailer teases power struggles, betrayals, and the reminder that in West Texas, survival is not noble.
It is brutal. And like Sheridan’s other work (Yellowstone, anyone?), the stakes feel high enough to keep viewers locked in every Sunday night.
