A Gwinnett County family is living a nightmare as they search for Lacie Parris, a 22-year-old woman who vanished in Los Angeles on Sunday.
What was supposed to be a fun weekend trip for Lacie and her longtime boyfriend quickly turned into a devastating situation after their concert plans were canceled due to the weather.
What Led To The Disappearance Of Lacie Parris
Her sister, Brianna, shared that Lacie has long battled bipolar depression and schizophrenia.
On Sunday morning, Lacie and her boyfriend visited a 7-Eleven in Los Angeles.
Since she was off her medication, he tried to give her a moment to herself.
In that short window of time, Lacie walked away and never returned.
Her boyfriend contacted their parents later that night, explaining that he could not find her anywhere.
With each passing hour and no new sightings, her family’s fear intensified.
Last Known Sighting Of Gwinnett County’s Lacie Parris
The family noted a charge at a liquor store, which is alarming because Lacie does not drink.
The last confirmed sighting came from an employee at a Subway restaurant in Hollywood around 11 p.m. Sunday.
The worker recalled Lacie buying a drink and hitting herself, appearing extremely distressed.
She was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt, black pants, and boots.
Her uncle, Adrian Dockett, urged the public to spread the word.
“What if this were your daughter? We never thought this could happen to us, but it did,” he said.
Family’s Emotional Plea For Help Finding Lacie Parris
The Gwinnett County community is rallying behind Lacie’s family as they pray for her safe return.
Lacie and her boyfriend have been together for ten years, and her disappearance has left everyone who loves her heartbroken.
“I just need my sister home. That’s it. That’s all I’m asking. I just want her home,” Brianna said.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating, but has not provided any updates on where Lacie Parris could be.
