A mother of two, Kianna Jackson, 25, from Pearl, Mississippi, was killed in a devastating shooting that took place inside a McDonald’s restaurant in Brandon, just outside of Jackson, on June 16.
The incident, which occurred around 7 p.m. local time, involved an apparent domestic dispute that ended in tragedy, leaving both Jackson and her partner, Jhonterrves Dampier, 27, deceased.
The Shooting Incident
According to reports from WJTV and WAPT, the shooting unfolded inside the McDonald’s on Stribling Lane.
Officers from the Brandon Police Department arrived at the scene to find Jackson fatally shot.
Dampier, who allegedly opened fire, was also found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically passed away two days later, on June 18.
Authorities have not yet revealed the full details of the altercation, but it’s believed that Jackson and Dampier shared two children together.
The incident has left the local community in shock, especially given the tragic nature of a domestic dispute unfolding in a public setting.
