Karlie Redd is breaking her silence following her arrest—and she’s got something to say.
The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star took to Instagram to thank everyone for the prayers and love after being hit with a serious charge: first-degree burglary.
In a clip she posted from a news report, Karlie revealed she’s now being represented by powerhouse attorney Steve Sadow—the same man currently defending Donald Trump in his Fulton County criminal case.
“Thank you for all your prayers ❤️ support and concerns in my DM’s and text messages! Love y’all,” Karlie wrote in the caption.
Her legal team also shared a statement:
“As everyone knows, Karlie and her husband are in the midst of a divorce proceeding, and her husband has previously been charged in Fulton County with family violence battery against her. I am very confident Karlie’s case will be resolved favorably.”
⚖️ The Arrest, Divorce Drama & Court Fallout
Karlie, whose real name is Karlie Lewis, was arrested on April 22 in Atlanta after allegedly breaking into a home believed to belong to her estranged husband, Teleau “T Divinci” Belton.
Their relationship has been nothing short of chaotic.
Back in February, Belton allegedly struck Karlie during a domestic altercation, which ultimately led to her receiving $18,537.50/month in temporary spousal support as part of their divorce proceedings.
Now, she’s facing even more legal heat after the burglary charge.
The court has ordered no contact between Karlie and Belton, outside of anything related to their ongoing divorce case.
Her bond was set at $15,000, but the legal dust is far from settled.
