Welp. Jurassic World: Dominion will stomp into theaters in 2022.
It appears the pandemic has screwed things up so badly that films that were scheduled to hit theaters in 2021 are jumping back another year.
Jurassic World was originally slated to open in theaters on June 11, 2021, but Universal and Amblin Entertainment made the decision to push the film back to June 10, 2022.
The biggest factor in the decision is the fact that production on the film was delayed by COVID-19.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Dominion is a huge deal for NBCUniversal and they have a huge roll out planned around the film that includes a myriad of theme park tie-ins, merchandising partnerships, live events and more.
I mean, we have no choice but to wait.
