Joyner Lucas tweeted last night that he doesn’t think Lil Nas X actually worships the devil, and as an artist, he’s doing everything he’s supposed to do.
He then followed that up with another tweet implying that he does have a problem with Lil Nas X’s younger fan base, which loves his “Old Town Road” song, seeing the provocative “Montero” video.
Lil Nas X responds to Joyner Lucas’s tweet stating that his lyrics on “Old Town Road” were of a mature nature as well, and parents need to blame themselves for letting their children listen to it.
i literally sing about lean & adultery in old town road. u decided to let your child listen. blame yourself. https://t.co/gYmTi49BqB

Wait… was Old Town Road a kids bop? I thought kids were just singing it cause it was catchy & they didn’t know wtf they were singing… like Genie In a Bottle, Pony, Baby One More Time, Barbie Girl… my mom used to get PISSED when my sister & I sang the Thong Song 🤷🏻♀️🤣

Did everyone forget we already did all this bullshit in the 70s & 80s with Black Sabbath,Number of the beast, highway to hell,Led Zeppelin,KISS,Judas Priest and eventually everyone realized its all just fun and make-believe.Lets try not to have another satanic panic in 2021.

Exactly what I’m saying. Parents give their kids phones and act like there isn’t things like pornhub and literal livestreams of dudes shooting up churches and schools. But oh no Lil Nas X made a video that isn’t for little teeny boppers 🤦🏼♂️
