Joe Rogan has taken to the streets of social media to issue an apology for his use of the “N-word” as the Spotify fallout continues.
In case you’ve been busy doing meaningful things in life and missed it – the shiznit has hit the fan over at Spotify as a growing list of artists have pulled their music from the streaming service because of Joe’s antics of spreading vaccine misinformation and racist remarks.
Neil Young kicked off the boycott and was joined by Joni Mitchell, Nils Lofgren, Brené Brown, India Arie, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash.
Spotify, who signed Joe to a massive podcast deal, tried to stop the bleeding by removing 70 episodes of his podcast from the platform.
Then, a compilation video surfaced showing Joe using the “N word” multiple times on his podcast over the years.
Now, Joe Rogan has taken to the streets of Instagram to issue an apology.
The video is captioned:
There’s been a lot of shit from the old episodes of the podcast that I wish I hadn’t said, or had said differently. This is my take on the worst of it.
