The custody battle between Kehlani and their daughter’s father, Javaughn Young-White, had just unlocked a new level of WTF.

Javaughn Files For Full Custody Of Adeya

I previously reported that Javaughn had filed for full custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Adeya Naomi.

In his shocking court filing, Javaughn claimed the singer was in a sex cult that endangered the safety of their daughter.

Javaughn claimed that the cult leader, who was currently facing numerous sexual assault allegations, posed a significant threat to Adeya’s safety.

He feared that without court intervention, Adeya could be at risk of abuse.

Javaughn contended that the cult leader had manipulated Kehlani into believing that he was a danger to their daughter, which led them to restrict his access to Adeya.

Kehlani Denies Sex Cult Accusations

Kehlani released a statement via Instagram denying the allegations against them.

I strongly deny any claims that I have put my child in harm’s way or left my child alone with anyone deemed dangerous or unsafe.

I also do not align with any of the allegations made against my former religious community that have been stated in the media.

I have always taken great care to ensure that my child remains protected and safe at all times.

Javaughn Young-White also released a statement, saying that he never intended for the details of his filing to be made public and it was never his intention to defame his co-parent.

He took it a step further by calling out TMZ and pressuring them to post a retraction in their coverage of the case.

In an embarrassing turn of events, Javaughn later took to social media to say that he was misinformed about the religious group Kehlani was a part of before filing for full custody of their daughter.

Kehlani upped the ante by securing an order of protection against Javaughn Young-White, claiming he was physically, emotionally, and verbally abusive.

In their filing, they claimed Javaughn had smashed through a locked bedroom door back in June after flying into a fit of rage when they questioned him about applying for public assistance.

Javaughn had been living with Kehlani at the time, and they said he spent most of his days smoking weed, doing magic mushrooms, and stewing in his room, which was a pigsty.

Things came to a head when Javaughn allegedly broke into Kehlani’s room and called them a “b**ch” and “liar.”

They claimed he blamed them for their daughter’s birth and accused them of trapping him and ruining his life.

According to Kehlani, after the June incident, Javaughn Young-White blocked them and fell off the map.

He sometimes picked Adeya up from school, but they had no idea where they went afterward.

A judge signed off on a temporary restraining order preventing Javaughn from contacting or coming within 100 yards of Kehlani or Adeya.

They were also granted sole custody of Adeya until a hearing in September.

Javaughn Young-White Drops Text Receipts Online

Javaughn decided to fight his case in the court of public opinion because he took to the streets of Instagram with more receipts than CVS.

The receipts came in the form of text message screenshots where he detailed what allegedly happened that fateful day in June, and he painted Kehlani as the aggressor.

“Kehlani busted through their own door and framed her abuse as mine. I have more. This is why I kept a paper trail. Sad that she’s resorting to lying,” he wrote in the caption.

Javaughn also shared a text message of him requesting to cease all direct contact with Kehlani for his safety. He requested that a means of communication with his daughter and her school be set up.

He added, “I cut off contact with her last month because of her abuse and how she alleges abuse when she is scared.”

Another text message showed Javaughn telling Kehlani to “retract your statement before I post everything.”

Kehlani responded, “I’m calling you. I was in rehearsal. I can retract. I’ve been in 6-hour rehearsal.”

Javaughn took to the caption to add, “She lied for public favor. And all y’all who claim to be her friend need to get off tryna paint me any type of way for her and go tell her to quit lying, and it’s not good for the spirit. It’s real layers to the audacity of lies here.”

In closing, Javaughn Young-White wrote:

I’ve been lied on and manipulated for years straight and it’s finally coming to an end. And I’m glad it’s out in the open for everyone to see piece by piece what it looks like.

I have evidence for everything. I have always forgiven and come back around because otherwise my daughter is weaponized against me. She TAKES CARE of all of her friends who live off her, I was only ever around for my daughter.

The moment I try to leave for good I was retaliated against with violence and anti-blackness. I rand from his lady multiple times in my life for good reason.

At this point, just get Ryan Murphy and his team of writers to make a Netflix series because this is a flame-broiled mess!

Unless I receive a jury duty summons…this isn’t my business.

Prayers for Adeya.
