During a recent roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie made it crystal clear that the embattled music mogul did not try to kill him.
“Nah, man. That’s not true,” he confirmed, shutting down the viral claim once and for all.
At the time, the actor and comedian was recovering from a serious stroke caused by a brain bleed—an incident that nearly claimed his life.
But while Diddy didn’t have anything to do with it, Jamie did admit he went down some wild mental rabbit holes while he was heavily sedated in the hospital.

While Jamie was hospitalized, under a cocktail of OxyContin, Dilantin, and morphine, he says he experienced some intense hallucinations. One of the craziest?
He genuinely believed doctors were trying to clone him as a white man to make him “sell better overseas.”
I’m sitting in the hospital bed, like, ‘These b****-ass motherf***ers are trying to clone me.’ And then I saw me walk into my room, but I’m white.
Yes, white Jamie Foxx.
He even confronted his psychiatrist about the wild vision, telling him:
“I saw you trying to get the white motherf***ing Jamie Foxx and it ain’t going to happen.”
After that outburst, Jamie said his doctor adjusted his medication levels, realizing the hallucinations were side effects of the heavy drugs in his system.

While the Diddy rumors may have been off base, Jamie did poke fun at the now-infamous “freak-off” parties in his 2024 Netflix comedy special, “What Had Happened Was“.
“Hell no, I left them parties early,” he joked, referencing Diddy’s over-the-top gatherings that have since become the center of his federal trial.
As of now, Diddy is facing serious charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He’s pleaded not guilty but could face life in prison if convicted.
