Ice Cube Reveals The ‘Friday’ Movie Plot Hollywood Execs Rejected

Ice Cube recently shared details about the plot for the new Friday movie that Hollywood executives turned down.

The iconic rapper, actor, and entrepreneur revealed the story during an exclusive interview on Cam Newton’s “Funky Friday” podcast.

According to Ice Cube, the new Friday would follow Craig and Day-Day as dispensary owners.

However, a string of unfortunate events would land them in jail, eventually leading to a stint in a rehab facility run by Smokey—Chris Tucker’s beloved character from the original film.

Unfortunately, Hollywood executives didn’t see the vision, leaving fans to imagine the sequel that could have been.
