Idris Elba is back to save the day again.

Apple TV+ just announced the premiere date and first look at the second season of its hit thriller series “Hijack,” starring and executive produced by Idris Elba.

The eight-episode season will take off on January 14, 2026, with the first two episodes dropping that day, followed by weekly releases through February 25, 2026.

Created by George Kay (LupinCriminal) and Jim Field Smith (Litvinenko), “Hijack” Season 2 moves the action from the skies to the Berlin underground, where a commuter train and its passengers are taken hostage.

Once again, Elba’s Sam Nelson finds himself in the middle of the chaos, and every move he makes could mean the difference between life and death.

A Star Powered Cast Joins Idris Elba

Season two will see the return of familiar faces like Christine AdamsMax Beesley, and Archie Panjabi, while introducing a powerhouse lineup of new talent.
