Judge Denies DDG’s Restraining Order As Halle Bailey Gets Green Light To Travel With Baby Halo

👶🏽 Halle Bailey Wins Round In Heated Custody Battle Over Baby Halo

The latest chapter in the DDG and Halle Bailey custody saga has just taken a major turn—and this time, the win goes to Halle.

On June 4, a judge denied DDG’s request for a temporary restraining order against the “Little Mermaid” star, clearing the way for Halle to travel abroad with their infant son, Halo, for work or personal reasons.

The ruling comes after a fiery back-and-forth between the exes, who’ve been locked in a messy legal fight over parenting arrangements since welcoming their son.

✈️ Halle Claps Back: Asks Court For Permission To Travel

In newly filed documents, Halle Bailey fired back at DDG’s emergency motion, not only asking the judge to deny his request to block her from leaving the country, but also requesting formal permission to travel internationally with Halo so she can fulfill her work obligations.

Halle says she’s not trying to keep their son from his father, but notes DDG and his legal team have ignored multiple efforts to set up monitored visits since a temporary restraining order (TRO) was issued on May 13, 2025.

She also highlights that DDG only filed his request to block her travel on June 4, the very day she’s reportedly planning to leave, despite knowing her travel plans in advance.

In addition to her travel request, Halle is asking the court to issue an order prohibiting DDG, his family, and his associates from publicly posting about:

  • Their son Halo
  • The ongoing custody litigation
  • Or Halle herself

She’s reportedly concerned that the constant public commentary is not only inappropriate, but potentially harmful.

🧾 DDG’s Allegations And The Judge’s Ruling

As previously reported, DDG alleged that Halle posed an “emotional and psychological risk” to their son, claiming she was mentally unstable and had acted erratically during and after her pregnancy.

He cited alleged past incidents involving a firearm and threatening messages as justification for keeping her grounded in California.

He also filed a request for a restraining order and sole custody of Halo, along with demands for supervised custody exchanges.

But the judge wasn’t buying it—at least not for now.

The court denied the restraining order request, ruling that Halle is allowed to travel internationally with their child for business or personal reasons.

🧜🏽‍♀️ What Happens Next

While Halle is now cleared to leave the country with Halo, this co-parenting battle is far from over.

A full hearing is still set for June 24, where both Halle and DDG will continue to present their competing custody petitions.

It’s expected to be an emotional and possibly explosive showdown as both parents seek to define their rights, responsibilities, and boundaries moving forward.

For now, though, Halle is free to fly—and she’s making it clear she won’t stay silent.

  1. Good for her! I’m glad he got denied because I know she wouldn’t want to travel without her baby
