Gayle King Keeps It Real With The Miya Ponsetto Who Claimed A 14-Year-Old Black Teen Stole Her Phone (Video)

Gayle King recently interviewed Miya Ponsetto after she physically attacked a 14-year-old black teen and falsely accusing him of stealing her cell phone.

Ponsetto’s energy was spicy from the offset of the interview. Even her attire looked like she couldn’t care less about the interview.

She did admit that she could’ve handled the situation differently, but she did not take accountability for attacking the teen or falsely accusing him of taking her phone.

During the interview, Ponsetto described herself as a “super sweet” person, but Gayle King quickly let her know that her actions that day were far from super sweet.

Gayle did a great job staying focus and refuting Ponsetto’s sarcastic responses with direct follow-up questions.

Near the end of the interview, Ponsetto grew so frustrated with Gayle’s line of questioning that she attempted to silence Gayle by saying “enough!” Ponsetto’s lawyer, who was sitting in on the interview, nudged Ponsetto to let her know that she needed to calm down.

Scoop the interview below:

Ponsetto was arrested on Thursday and charged with attempted robbery.

The arrest was a joint effort with the Ventura County Sheriff and NYPD. The assault took place in New York, and Ponsetto, reportedly, left for California to lay low with her mother shortly after.

She is being held without bail and her extradition is pending.

This incident just adds another infraction to Ponsetto’s criminal record. She had  2 DUI busts in 2020, and in February she was arrested with her mother for public drunkenness at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The apple don’t fall far from the tree.

Rumors are that Ponsetto’s phone was eventually found in an Uber and returned to her.
