Freeway Shares How Therapy Has Helped Him As He Grieves His Son, Daughter, & Father

Freeway opened up about how therapy is helping him through his grief during an interview with Sway.

The Philadelphia rapper, whose real name is Leslie Pridgen, has suffered unimaginable loss.

His son, Jihad, passed away in  October 2020, from complications of accidental drug intoxication. 

He was 20. 

A month before Jihad’s passing, Freeway’s daughter, Harmony, was diagnosed with cancer. 

She passed a year later in October 2021. 

Harmony was 21

After losing both of his children, Freeway, lost his father.

During his emotional interview with Sway, Free shared how therapy equipped him with the tools he needed to help manage his grief.
