Directed again by Emma Tammi and written by the game’s creator Scott Cawthon, the story picks up one year after the supernatural chaos at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

The Story Picks Up One Year Later
Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have done everything possible to protect Abby (Piper Rubio) from the truth about her animatronic “friends.”
But curiosity gets the best of her.
When Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, she sets off a chain of terrifying events that unearth dark secrets buried for decades.
It’s safe to say this sequel takes the nightmare to a whole new level.

Returning stars Hutcherson, Lail, and Matthew Lillard are joined by some serious new talent.
Expect to see Freddy Carter (Shadow and Bone), Wayne Knight (Jurassic Park, Seinfeld), Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters franchise), and horror icon Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale).
