When reserved college professor Maya (Kiki Layne) tells a harmless little white lie about being in a relationship with an unconscious stranger, she never expects it to snowball into a full-blown holiday adventure.
Soon, she’s wrapped up in the stranger’s family Christmas plans and face-to-face with her ex, Daniel (Etienne Maurice)—who just happens to be her “boyfriend’s” doctor.
Awkward? Absolutely. Romantic? You already know!
As the holidays unfold, sparks fly, hearts heal, and Maya discovers that sometimes a fake story can lead to real love.
