Rue and her drug-induced shenanigans aren’t going anywhere anytime soon! “Euphoria” has been renewed for a third season at HBO.
The Sam Levinson series follows 17-year-old drug addict Rue (Zendaya), who must find hope and survive while balancing the pressures and confusions of love and loss amidst her circle of friends and enemies in the town of East Highland.
The season 2 cast also includes Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, Austin Abrams, Algee Smith, and Chloe Cherry.
The news of the season 3 renewal comes as no surprise to viewers and fans of the show.
Each episode trends on Twitter for days, and the ratings are skyrocketing.
According to Variety, Season 2’s premiere episode on January 9 has garnered 13.1 million total viewers across HBO and HBO Max to date.
Viewership doubles with each new episode.
