Drea Kelly, the ex-wife of R. Kelly, is speaking out after the singer was convicted on nine counts of sex-trafficking and racketeering on Monday (September 27).
Speaking with “Good Morning Britain,” Drea shared her “heart is in two places.”
I sit in a very difficult place because unlike the rest of his victims…I also share children with him.
I was married to him. So, I wear two hats.
I wear the hat of a survivor and an advocate and I also wear the hat of a mother and an ex-wife.
So, it’s very difficult for me. I feel that my heart is in two places.
Watch below as Drea Kelly speaks with “Good Morning Britain.”
R. Kelly will be sentenced on May 4.
My prayers to his children.
