The official funeral arrangements for DMX have been announced.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will stream on YouTube on Saturday, April 24 at 4 p.m. EST.
On Sunday, April 25, a Homegoing Celebration will air live on BET at 2:30 p.m. EST.
The official press release reads:
A memorial to celebrate the life of Earl “DMX” Simmons will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 4 p.m. EST. Fans are invited to watch the event by tuning in to DMX’s YouTube channel. The Home-going Celebration will be held on Sunday, April 25 at 2:30 p.m. and will broadcast live on BET and it’s YouTube channel.
Attendance to both the “Celebration of Life” memorial and the Home-going Celebration will be restricted to close friends and family solely due to the health and safety guidelines.
New York State currently limits indoor arenas to 10% capacity. New York State COVID-19 testing guidelines and protocols will be followed.
