What Happened With Diamond Tankard?
Reality TV personality Diamond Tankard, best known from Bravo’s “Blood Is Thicker Than Water,” has landed in serious legal trouble—again.
The 21-year-old was arrested in Nashville on Friday, July 18, and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft over $1,000, according to court records from Davidson County.
Her bond was set at $25,000, and she’s expected to appear in court on August 22.
There’s no word yet on whether she’s secured legal representation.
The Alleged Assault At Walmart
Per a probable cause affidavit obtained by WSMV-TV and USA Today, the arrest stems from a violent altercation at a Walmart.
Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a report of an assault at the self-checkout area.
When they arrived, the victim told them she had been attacked from behind by Tankard—who allegedly grabbed her by the hair and assaulted her with a sock full of rocks.
Let that sink in.
Witnesses, including the victim’s grandmother, backed up the account, stating that Tankard used the sock-weapon during the altercation.

Video of the altercation is now viral on social media and Diamond appears to be wearing an ankle monitor during the attack.
What Was Taken?
The victim told officers that Diamond allegedly snatched her iPhone 14 and her Louis Vuitton handbag—valued at $1,500 and $900, respectively—before running out of the store.
Walmart security footage reportedly captured Tankard grabbing the items and fleeing the scene.
The victim sustained a laceration above her left eye and required stitches, according to USA Today.
This Isn’t Diamond’s First Legal Drama
This isn’t Tankard’s first run-in with the law.
Back in December 2024, she was hit with attempted felony murder charges after allegedly running down a woman with her car.
Authorities also charged her with failure to give aid and failure to report the incident.
According to reports, the November 2024 car incident involved Tankard intentionally striking the woman with her vehicle.
That case is still pending.
Who Is Diamond Tankard?
If her name sounds familiar, it’s because Diamond is one of the stars of Bravo’s “Blood Is Thicker Than Water.”
The reality series followed NBA player-turned-gospel jazz producer Ben Tankard and his blended family as they built a business empire and navigated life in the spotlight.
The show aired for three seasons from 2013 to 2016 and gave fans a front-row seat to the Tankards’ glamorous—and sometimes messy—lifestyle.
From reality TV fame to felony charges, Diamond Tankard’s story has taken a dramatic turn.
Whether this will lead to redemption or more chaos remains to be seen—but one thing’s for sure: the “Blood Is Thicker Than Water” star is now back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
