Paramount+ has officially announced that the SHOWTIME original series has been renewed for Season 2, and yes, the writers’ room is already open!
The fan-favorite revival starring Michael C. Hall as everyone’s favorite forensic analyst-slash-serial killer continues its twisted story with Emmy-nominated showrunner Clyde Phillips once again at the helm.
The Dark Passenger Is Back
After slicing through expectations with its debut season, “Dexter: Resurrection” proved that the Dark Passenger still has plenty of drive left.
The series picked up after “Dexter: New Blood,” reuniting Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) with his son, Harrison (Jack Alcott), as they wrestled with their inner demons in the city that never sleeps.
It was equal parts emotional, unsettling, and nostalgic — exactly what long-time fans crave.
Season 1 of “Dexter: Resurrection” also reunited several of the creative forces that made the franchise iconic.
Clyde Phillips returned as showrunner and executive producer, alongside a powerhouse team including Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds (“Jessica Jones”), Tony Hernandez (“Emily in Paris”), Lilly Burns (“Russian Doll”), and Marcos Siega (“Dexter: New Blood”). The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.
