Dave East has released his “Know How I Feel” video featuring Mary J. Blige, and it’s giving off “You’re All I Need” vibes.
Not so much in lyrical content because “Know How I Feel” is not a relationship song, but more so in the young gifted rapper on the rise teaming up with the Queen of R&B to make great music.
The fact that Dave played Method Man in Hulu’s “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” series really drives the nostalgia home.
Dave East is a very underrated lyricist who doesn’t get the recognition he deserves, in my opinion, and him putting out a visual with Mary J. Blige is perfect for crossover exposure.
