A limited series inspired by the story of Cyntoia Brown-Long is in the works at Starz.
The project, from 50 Cent, Lala Anthony, and Santa Sierra, is based on Cyntoia’s book, “Free Cyntoia: My Search for Redemption in the American Prison System.“
Cyntoia served 15 years of a life sentence for killing a man who purchased her for sex when she was 16-years-old.
50 Cent and Lala will executive produce the limited series and Santa will writ e the script.
Cyntoia Brown-Long and her husband Jamie Long will consult on the project.
