Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill have reached a settlement agreement in their divorce case, which includes a precautionary measure.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, 55, and the sportscaster, 52, fell in love and tied the knot on October 10, 2020.
Sadly, they called it quits days before their second wedding anniversary.
According to their settlement agreement, filed on Thursday in Fulton County, Georgia, the former lovebirds have their own homes, their own retirement accounts, and insurance plans.
Both Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill declined to pay each other alimony.
What’s interesting is both parties filed a motion on Thursday to seal future records, stating that they are “public figures” and have a “grave interest in protecting both their privacy interest and mental health.”
The request reads:
The parties assert that there are certain private matters concerning the dissolution of their marriage which may raise issues concerning both the moral character and embarrassing acts of one of the parties.
These facts are perceived to have a strong probability of potentially adversely compromising one of both parties reputation, image, business dealings, and will significantly harm the parties mentally, psychologically, financially, and emotionally.
Despite the “embarrassing acts” that could potentially impact their mental health, Mike Hill and Cynthia Bailey kept it cute in their divorce statement.
“We are grateful that we remain good friends, and will always cherish the many memories we’ve shared together as husband and wife.”
The divorce case remains open and has yet to be finalized.
A hearing is scheduled for January 5, 2023.
