Cuba Gooding Jr. threw in the towel and settled his civil sex abuse case on Tuesday moments before jury selection was to begin.

The 55-year-old actor is accused of raping a woman he met at a Greenwich Village bar in 2013.

The woman, who is represented by Gloria Allred, claims Cuba invited her back to his hotel room for drinks and asked her to join him in his room while he quickly changed his clothes.

Once in the room, the accuser claims Cuba Gooding Jr. stripped naked and refused to let her leave.

Cuba has maintained his innocence, said the encounter was consensual, and said his accuser is lying.

But, the game changed when Judge Paul Crotty, who presiding over the case ruled Cuba’s accuser could call three other women, who accused the actor of sexual assaults or attempted sexual assaults, to testify.

The details of the settlement have not been disclosed.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is an Oscar-winning actor who has appeared in numerous movies including Jerry Maguire, Radio, and Men of Honor. He is also the brother of actor Omar Gooding.

The actor has faced an unsettling amount of accusations within the past four years including groping women, sexual misconduct, and rape.
