The popular Mexican food chain just announced a massive $1 million free food giveaway in honor of the holiday — and all the fun is happening inside the digital world of Roblox.

Starting May 5 at 3:00 p.m. PT, Chipotle is launching a brand-new immersive experience called Ingredient Quest inside its Burrito Builder game on Roblox.

Players will have a chance to win one of 50,000 free burritos by collecting virtual ingredient cards!

Ingredient Quest is all about celebrating Chipotle’s fresh, real ingredients — 53 of them, to be exact.
Here’s the breakdown:

  • Roblox users will enter Chipotle’s virtual restaurant to get a starter pack of five ingredient cards.
  • Players then roll digital burritos in Burrito Builder to earn Burrito Bucks.
  • Use those bucks to collect more ingredient cards.
  • The first 50,000 players to collect all 53 ingredients will score a free Chipotle entrĂ©e in real life!

Chipotle shared in a press release that the game taps into Gen Z’s love for nostalgic card collecting and the excitement of landing rare items, making the experience both fun and educational.

“Our fans love to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with our real ingredients,” the company said. “This year, we’re giving the Roblox community the opportunity to compete for free Chipotle and learn more about what makes our brand unique along the way.”
