Chadwick Boseman departed this life, but his talent, his work, and his legacy continue to live on.
The late actor made SAG Awards history on Thursday when he became the first person ever to receive four nominations in a single year in the film categories.
Chadwick received the following nominations:
- Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role – Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
- Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture – Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
- Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role – Da 5 Bloods
- Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture– Da 5 Bloods
Chadwick Boseman also received the following nominations:
- Golden Globes | Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) – Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
- NAACP Image Awards | Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture – Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
- NAACP Image Awards | Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture – Da 5 Bloods
I hope is that Chadwick receives an Oscar nod for his unforgettable performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
