In a surprising twist, Grammy-winning rapper Nelly is set to perform at President-elect Donald Trumpâs Inaugural Liberty Ball on Monday night, according to a CBS News report.
This unexpected announcement has left many fans and observers puzzled, especially given Nellyâs previous remarks about Trump.
In a 2017 interview, Nelly expressed that while he didnât mind Trump as a celebrity, he took issue with his political actions, stating, “He doesnât surprise me as a person⌠He surprises me as a president because you donât expect certain things, certain attitudes.”
