The first season of “Bel-Air” is in the bag and one thing is for certain – we are here for Cassandra Freeman, who portrays “Aunt Viv” in the hit Peacock series.

Following the season one finale, Cassandra took to social media to reflect on her experience on the show and she revealed she didn’t want to audition for the role.

“The shoes were way too big to fill,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram page.

It is such an honor and while we pause between seasons..

I reflect on the whirlwind of meeting my Bel Air family of amazing souls!

To think I didn’t even want to audition for the role because it seemed impossible! The shoes were way to big to fill!

And now here we are..y’all we must try for the impossible! Because who knows what we are truly capable of until we try!

Can’t wait to create more @belairpeacock next season! Cheers to us all.

Cheers to this renaissance of #BlackExcellence ???? #BlackCreativity #Love

Despite her apprehension, I am so glad Cassandra Freeman did audition because she’s been absolutely amazing on the show.
