🎤 Brandy & Monica Reunite After 27 Years For The Boy Is Mine Tour
Brandy and Monica just made every R&B lover’s dream come true.
After years of fan speculation, the legendary duo has officially announced their first-ever joint tour—The Boy Is Mine Tour—named after their Grammy-winning 1998 duet that became one of the most iconic collaborations in R&B history.
Now, 27 years after the song ruled the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks, the ladies are hitting the road together this fall—and they’re bringing some powerful voices along for the ride.
📅 Tour Dates, Cities & Special Guests
The The Boy Is Mine Tour kicks off October 16 in Cincinnati and will hit 24 cities across the U.S., wrapping on December 7 in Houston.
Fans can expect electrifying performances in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chicago.
But Brandy and Monica won’t be alone on stage.
The tour is stacked with an all-star lineup of guests including:
- Kelly Rowland – four-time Grammy winner and newly announced coach on The Voice UK
- Muni Long – two-time Grammy winner whose latest album Revenge dropped last summer
- Jamal Roberts – American Idol Season 23 champ who just landed his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart
Note: Muni Long will not appear at the Hampton, VA stop.
🎥 Watch The Boy Is Mine Tour Trailer
To announce the tour, Brandy and Monica dropped a high-concept short film directed by Ethan Tobman (known for work with Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift).
The trailer is set in a “maximum sound asylum” where the duo’s harmonies are considered too powerful—and too forbidden.

💬 Why This Tour Is Bigger Than Music
In a press release, Brandy reflected on how meaningful this reunion is:
“This really is a full-circle moment. Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music — it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come.”
Monica added:
“We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for, and doing it with grace, love, and purpose. God’s timing perfectly aligned us.”
Both artists see The Boy Is Mine Tour not just as a performance—but as a celebration of sisterhood, resilience, and the legacy they’ve built.
