BET is bringing back the energy of a cultural staple with its brand-new original series, “106 & Sports.”
Inspired by the legendary “106 & Park,” the show premieres Wednesday, October 15, on BET, with episodes streaming the next day on BET+.
This launch also marks the 25th anniversary of “106 & Park,” but instead of music countdowns, this new version will serve as the ultimate space for culturally-driven sports commentary.
The series blends sports, music, and entertainment in a way that only BET can deliver.
The Hosts: Cam Newton And Ashley Nicole Moss
At the heart of “106 & Sports” are its dynamic hosts, NFL icon Cam Newton and sports journalist Ashley Nicole Moss.
Together, they promise to bring an unfiltered vibe to every conversation.
Expect a mix of athlete insights, fan-driven debates, and authentic conversations that make this show stand out.
Cam Newton explained it best: “When I think about 106 & Park, I remember how it was a voice for the culture. Now, we’re doing the same thing for sports. 106 & Sports is where you’ll get the real talk, the authentic insights, and the kind of conversations you won’t find anywhere else.”

“106 & Sports” is produced by SpringHill, the award-winning studio within Fulwell Entertainment.
LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, and Philip Byron serve as executive producers, with Courtney Whitaker as Co-Executive Producer.
Tiffany Lea Williams, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Programming and Development at BET, oversees the project for the network.
Williams described the series as an exciting evolution of BET’s legacy, reimagining the cultural heartbeat of “106 & Park” through the lens of sports.
