Ari Lennox and sick and tired.
The “Pressure” singer took to the streets of Twitter over the weekend to get a few things off of her chest.
First things first, she wants to be dropped from her label – Dreamville Records, owned by rapper J. Cole.
Secondly, Ari addressed those who are sick and tired of hearing her complain.
She tweeted:
I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired.
For Christ sakes. I realize I have no hits. I realize you all can live without hearing my music. I realize my complaining is so aggravating to y’all. I don’t ask blogs to post me when I’m at my worst. You judgemental self-hating parasites wouldn’t last a day as a signed artist.
Complaining that I’m complaining about the shit I’m going through meanwhile in real life you’re just as unhappy just as fucked up. You crying in the car too. Somebody calling you insensitive and dramatic too. You could never be honest about your demons.

The latest tweets from Ari Lennox appear to be an extension of the frustration she feels after an interview she did on a popular South African podcast went completely left.
You may recall we reported Mac G asked the singer a wildly inappropriate question about her sex life.
Full disclosure, I think Ari is beautiful and extremely talented, but for a very long time I was disinterested in her because the only time she came across my radar was when she was upset or complaining about something.
Once I familiarized myself with her talent, I overlooked everything else and made it a point to support her because I totally understand how vicious the music industry is especially for a woman…a Black woman.
And in a world where social media is king, it has to be tough being a public figure and navigating all of the outside noise regarding your actions, feelings, and talent.
Sending Ari Lennox positive vibes at a time when it appears she needs them most.
