R&B sensation Ari Lennox, known for hits like “Pressure,” recently revealed her decision to leave social media permanently, marking a major turning point in her personal and professional life.

This announcement came just days after she shared the disappointing news of canceling her Los Angeles show due to low ticket sales.

In a heartfelt statement, Ari Lennox opened up about her struggles with social media, sharing her plans to step away from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok by December 18th.

That day holds special significance for the artist as it will be her two-year sobriety anniversary.

Ari expressed that her relationship with social media has been toxic and codependent, hindering her growth and happiness.

She wrote, “Hey ❤️ I’m working on a plan to transition off of social media for good. I don’t believe I’ll ever mature and be happy as long as I have it. So my last day of socials will be December 18th, my 2-year sobriety anniversary. I will be deleting my FB, IG, and TikTok permanently.”

Ari Lennox also noted that the fear of losing brand deals, music sales, and online validation will no longer hold her back.

Instead, she’s choosing her mental health and freedom over the pressure to stay relevant on these platforms.

“My happiness is worth more to me than using these platforms to promote,” she continued.

While Ari Lennox plans to disconnect from social media, fans can still keep up with her through YouTube and her official website, AriLennox.com.

She’s also encouraging fans to subscribe to her mailing list for updates on her 2025 album and tour.

In a final note, Ari Lennox assured her followers that while her decision is extreme, it’s necessary for her well-being: “I’m an extreme person. It will forever be all or nothing with me.”
