Al B. Sure!’s Tell-All Put On Ice

Frens… it looks like we might be waiting a minute (or 25 years!) for Al B. Sure!’s much-talked-about memoir “Do You Believe Me Now?” to hit shelves.

The R&B icon had the internet buzzing when he announced the book in May, promising everything from shocking revelations about Sean “Diddy” Combs to never-before-told stories about his romance with the late Kim Porter and details of his near-fatal health scare in 2022.

But now? The publisher, Simon & Schuster, has quietly removed the listing from their site, the Amazon pre-order is gone, and the audiobook release date has been bumped to 2050.

Audible has already snatched it down completely.

The Dispute Behind The Delay

So, what happened?

According to Al B.’s lawyer, Robert J. Hantman, the drama boils down to creative disagreements.

He says Simon & Schuster wanted more tea on Diddy, but Al B. was not ready to spill beyond what he had already planned.

That is a big deal considering the original promo described the book as revealing “shocking ties to Sean Combs” alongside Al B.’s health journey and love story with Porter.

And if you have been keeping up, you know Al B.’s past comments about a possible connection between his coma and the Bad Boy founder stirred up a whole media storm.

Outside Forces At Play?

Here is where it gets even more interesting.

Hantman says there is concern that outside forces may have influenced the publisher’s decision to hit pause.

He even mentioned bringing in private investigator Bo Dietl to dig deeper, telling reporters, “If someone interfered, we are going to investigate.”

Meanwhile, fans are left wondering if this memoir will ever see the light of day or if it is destined to live in the vault forever.

About The Book

Do You Believe Me Now?” is not just a stroll down memory lane.

Al B. Sure! was ready to give us the full ride from his days in Money Earnin’ Mount Vernon to New Jack Swing stardom, his behind-the-scenes role at Uptown Records where a young Diddy got his start, and the rollercoaster of fame, family, and personal battles.

The book promised unfiltered truths about alleged threats, surveillance, and years of feeling targeted.

These are stories people once brushed off as “crazy” but that Al B. now says were all too real.

With federal investigations into Combs making headlines, this memoir could have been explosive.

Frens, I do not know about you, but if “Do You Believe Me Now?” ever drops, I will be first in line with my tea cup ready.

Until then, we will have to wait and see if this book makes a comeback or stays locked away for good.

Frens, would you read Al B. Sure!’s memoir if it finally drops?
