A Walmart customer in Lovejoy, Georgia accidentally discharged his firearm inside of the store shooting himself and three other patrons.
Thankfully, none of the injuries were life-threatening.
The shooting in Walmart happened Sunday afternoon (August 21) just before 12:30 PM.
According to Lovejoy police sergeant Akeem Turnbull, the man had a loaded firearm unholstered that fell from his waistband.
When he attempted to catch the firearm, he struck himself in the leg, and the bullet ricocheted and hit three other patrons in the leg as well.
All three customers hit by the ricocheting bullet were female, two were middle-aged, and the other was in her 70s.
The gun owner and one of the women shot were treated at Grady Hospital, and the other two victims were treated at the scene.
The 29-year-old gun owner is facing reckless conduct charges from the accidental shooting in the Georgia Walmart.
