4/20 Edition: Redman Verzuz Method Man – Who You Got?

67

Tonight, we have Redman (Funk Doctor Spock) Verzuz Method Man (The Iron Lung), two hip-hop legends known for their lyrics and their affinity for cannabis.

Shoutout to whoever had the idea to schedule this battle on 4/20!

The battle starts at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT, and it can be seen on the Triller app, FITE app, or on Instagram.

Redman came on the hip-hop scene in the 90s and gave us classics including, Dare Iz a Darkside (1992), Muddy Waters (1996), and Doc’s Da Name 2000 (1998).

Redman continued to make great albums in the 2000s, and he is still making music today.

I will never forget that Redman gave us this iconic visual:

Method Man gave us his classic first solo album Tical in 1994, he won a Grammy with Mary J. Blige after remixing track number 4 “All I Need“.

To me, Method Man has always been the standout in the Wu-Tang Clan, his cadence and his swag are unmatched.

To this day you can depend on Meth to drop bars no matter who he is on a song with.

I am a huge fan of both artist, but I have to ride with Method Man on this one.

Who you got?
