Zaven Collins tried to use his “I play ball” card to get out of an arrest and when that didn’t work he proceeded to beg the officers not to arrest him.

Zaven Collins was the 16th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.

And, when he was stopped by the cops for doing 76 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, he looked surprised that the officers could care less about him playing football for the Arizona Cardinals.

In the video, Zaven tells the officers he plays professional ball in town, but they seemed to completely ignore the statement.

After they told Zaven he would be arrested for excessive speed and reckless driving, his calm cooperative demeanor quickly switched to desperation.

I know you could scold my ass, and I know you could really, really help me out and, just — please, sir!

Zaven continuously pleaded with the cops to cut him a break, referencing how cool and cooperative he had been.

I’ve been cool. I’ve been chill. Can you please? Please, sir?

I know I sped a little bit, sir… I’m just saying, can you help, like please?

Just show a little bit of love. Please. God bless. Please

He was clearly trying to save his rookie reputation, but the officers were unbothered.

Watch the video below:

Zaven was booked and charged with 1 count of exceeding the speed limit and 1 count of reckless driving.

He is due back in court in late August.

Perhaps if he was stopped by some officers that were hardcore Arizona Cardinals fans things what’ve turned out differently.

Your thoughts?
