Yung Joc send Zelle payment to wrong person
Instagram

Yung Joc accidentally sent a $1,800 payment to the wrong person and now he’s turned to the internet to help him get his money back.

The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star and Streetz 94.5 Atlanta morning show co-host took to his Instagram page and shared a screenshot of a text message he sent the person after Joc realized he sent nearly $2,000 to the wrong person.

Yung Joc appealed to the person to do the right thing and return the money, writing:

Hi can you please return the $1800 that I mistakenly sent to your account via Zelle.

I don’t know you nor do you know me.

Please do the right thing.

God has a bigger blessing for you…..

I know you’ve blocked my number and that’s ok I just need the $1800 that was sent to your account via Zelle.

When the stranger didn’t comply, respond, or return the money, Joc took to social media and posted the person’s number and urged his 1.3 million followers to call or text the person to ask for his money back.

He wrote, “So I sent them a Zelle by mistake and they won’t return my money…. can y’all please call/text them and ask them to return my lil change?”

See the screenshot below. I cropped it to avoid posting someone’s telephone number on the site.

Joc returned to social media to offer more background information on the story saying that the person initially promised to return the money, but then ghosted him.

He also said that if they had returned the money he would have done something “even bigger” for them.

Just like clockwork, Twitter chimed in on the incident and cut the fool.

I don’t know what’s going on with these celebrities who try to weaponize their audience and/or fan bases to do their dirty work.

While I understand $1,800 is not a little bit of money, especially for someone who was recently arrested for child support, posting someone’s number publicly is not the way to go.

Perhaps having an attorney contact them would have gotten better results.

So, my question to you is would you return the $1,800 if Yung Joc accidentally sent it to you?
