It’s with a heavy heart that I report Kristoff St. John has passed away.
The “Young and the Restless” star was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home on Sunday by a friend who stopped by to check on him.
Police and paramedics were immediately alerted. They pronounced Kristoff dead at the scene.
He was 52.
The news of Kristoff’s death comes 5 years after his son, Julian St. John, took his own life while he was at a mental health treatment center.
Kristoff and his ex-wife, Mia St. John, sued the facility for negligence. They eventually settled out of court.
In 2017, Kristoff was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold after he threatened to kill himself with a gun.
Mia took to social media and wrote, “THAT HOSPITAL KILLED OUR SON @TheArtofJulian THEN MY HUSBAND @kristoffstjohn1. THATS WHAT HAPPENED! THEY KILLED MY FAMILY”
She has since deleted the post.
Kristoff St. John’s girlfriend, Kseniya, is devastated by his death. She took to social media writing:
How did it happen ??? How ??? Why did you leave so early ???? and left me alone ….. I can’t believe ???? you were everything to me …. you were a loving father, a loving man,…..how ??????????? love?? we should doing a lot of things in future……
