The 2016 American Music Awards will be the Drake and Rihanna show as the rapper has set a record with 13 nominations and the singer is sitting pretty as the top female nominee with 7 nods.

Rih Rih and Drizzy both scooped nominations for Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year for “Work,” Video of the Year for “Work,” and Favorite Song (Soul/R&B) for “Work.”

Rihanna is also nominated for Favorite Female Artist (Pop/Rock), Favorite Female Artist (Soul/R&B), and Favorite Album (Soul/R&B) for ANTI.

Drake scooped nods for Favorite Male Artist (Pop/Rock), Favorite Album (Pop/Rock), Favorite Song (Pop/Rock) for “One Dance,” Favorite Artist (Rap/Hip Hop), and Favorite Album (Rap/Hip Hop) for Views.

In a post on her IG page, Rihanna gushed, “So blessed to be the top female nominee for this years #AmericanMusicAwards ??”

The American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 20 at 8p EST on ABC with Jennifer Lopez as your lovely host.
