Woman Who Had Underage Sex With R. Kelly Speaks Out

A woman who says she had underaged sex with R. Kelly when she was 15-years-old is breaking her silence and non-disclosure agreement to tell her story.

Jerhonda Pace, formerly Jerhonda Johnson, says she met became infatuated with the R&B superstar after hearing his Chocolate Factory album when she was 11.

She says she skipped school every day to attend his child pornography trial and she eventually met Kells.

By the time she was 16, R. Kelly took her virginity they began a sexual relationship over the course of seven months.

I had to call him ‘daddy,’ and he would call me ‘baby.’ He wanted me to have two pigtails, and I had to go out and find little schoolgirl outfits.

Jerhonda ended her relationship with R. Kelly after he assaulted her when he caught her texting someone.

I was slapped and I was choked and I was spit on.

Jerhonda Pace took a polygraph test (a lie detector test) on January 9, 2010 and passed with flying colors.

There are also court documents (see also “receipts”) of her settlement with R. Kelly.

In 2012, Kells fell behind on his settlement payments. That may be because Uncle Sam had his hand in his pocket for $5 million.

Jerhonda was motivated to speak out by the new cult allegations against R. Kelly at the risk of being sued.

I know speaking out against Kelly, Kelly could sue me. But I’m really not worried about it anymore. I feel like this is a healing process for me, because I’ve been holding this in for so many years, and to see that he always gets away with it, it’s just not right. I’m just going forward with my head held high.

Several individuals with firsthand knowledge of the situation have supported Pace’s claims. Additionally, BuzzFeed News reviewed signed legal documents, drafts of settlements between Kelly and Pace, correspondence between Pace and the attorneys involved, a polygraph test performed at the request of her attorney regarding her relationship with Kelly, a probate court document opening an estate for Pace as the result of a civil settlement, and a subsequent payment made by Kelly’s management company to Pace. Representatives for Kelly did not respond to requests for comment.
