Tenisha Bonner learned the hard way that everything doesn’t need to be posted on social media especially domestic violence.

Just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies were called to a drug store on Center Point Parkway to investigate a report of domestic violence, said Chief Deputy Randy Christian. The caller met with deputies and told them that a family member – now identified as Bonner – had posted a video to social media that showed her striking her husband.
The caller went on to say he thought Bonner might be armed and asked that deputies follow him to the home to check on them. Deputies arrived at the home in the 2800 block of Arrowhead Circle and tried to make contact with the people inside.
No one came to the door, and Christian said deputies learned that the couple had left the home prior to their arrival. They were found at a relative’s home a few miles away. The man had cuts on his face. The wife was not armed, and was taken into custody.
Sheriff’s investigators on Thursday charged Bonner with third-degree domestic violence. She was released from the Jefferson County Jail Thursday after posting bond.
