Wiz Khalifa arrested at airport over hover board

Wiz Khalifa detained at the airport for riding a hover board.

Wiz Khalifa had a run in with police at the airport on Saturday (August 22) because he says he “didn’t want to ditch the technogy everyone will be using in the next 6 months.”

Officers approached Wiz, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, and demanded that he get off of his hover board.

The rapper refused and challenged the officers by saying, “You can’t do nothing anyway. What are you going to do? Put me in jail because I don’t listen what you say? You can’t do nothing. We can have all of the conversations you want to. We’ll end up on TMZ…you guys can become as famous as you wanna be.”

Moments laters, a video shows Wiz pinned to the ground by multiple officers who are instructing him not to resist. Wiz can be heard saying, “I’m not resisting.”

The “See You Again” rapper took to his Twitter account and detailed the events the led of to him being “slammed and cuffed” in the airport.
